MIDDLE SCHOOL

Grades 7~9

Our Middle School program is centered on strong core academics. Students in Grades 7–8 study five main subjects: English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Japanese.

English, Math, Science, and Social Studies follow the internationally accredited Ignitia curriculum and are delivered through structured, teacher-led instruction. While digital tools and resources are incorporated where appropriate, all classes are actively taught and guided by qualified teachers who provide direct instruction, facilitate discussion, assess progress, and offer individualized support. Each subject is approached from a Biblical worldview, encouraging students to grow in both academic excellence and character.

In addition to their core studies, students participate in our STEAM program (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), which provides hands-on, project-based opportunities to apply learning in creative and practical ways.

Japanese Language & Cultural Understanding

As a school located in Japan, we value meaningful engagement with Japanese language and culture. Japanese is an essential part of our core curriculum for all Elementary students.

Students follow a Japanese curriculum aligned with JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) levels, building systematic skills in reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar, and communication. Instruction is structured to progressively develop fluency and literacy while preparing students to advance through recognized proficiency benchmarks.

Through rigorous academics, consistent teacher support, and meaningful enrichment opportunities, our Middle School program prepares students for a smooth transition into high school and future academic success.
