From warm shades to cool hues, grade 3 students explored the magic of warm and cool colors in their Art lesson last week!

G1 students have been exploring the Epic reading library to research and compare two animals of their choice. They took notes on the unique characteristics of each animal and wrote a paragraph using comparative words they had learned in language arts this week.

In science  students also learned about the different phases of the moon in a fun and tasty way using Oreo cookies. They were able to design and create their vests using materials that reflect light.

Our student lead crochet workshop after school was also a huge success with many students and parents joining to develop a new skill.

Meanwhile all students have been enjoying their marital arts lessons this term with a focus on jiujitsu and karate!
